Besides visiting the city of Cusco and Machu Picchu the Inca citadel, the program include a really challenge walk in the Pisac ruins, located at 30 km from Cusco! This amazing Inca site will surprise you with its magnificent agricultural terraces, temples, and residences built on the mountain spur, moreover Pisac is surrounded by the beautiful landscape of the Sacred Valley.

Day 01: Arrival in Cusco – City Tour

  • Transfer from the airport to your hotel
  • Cusco City tour: Cathedral, Qoricancha, Sacsayhuaman, Tambomachay, Qenqo (half day)
  • Overnight at hotel in Cusco

 Day 02: Pisac Archeological and Ollantaytambo (full day day)

 Day 03: Machupicchu Full Day

 Day 01: Arrival in Cusco – City Tour (13:00 – 18:00)

Upon arrival in Cusco we will pick you up from the airport and transfer you to your hotel. We recommended that you drink a coca leaf infusion and rest for the first hours to better acclimatize to the altitude.

In the afternoon we will pick you up for the hotel at 13:30 to visit the Cusco Cathedral and its treasures of Colonial art, including fine silverworks, wood carvings and paintings belonging to Escuela Cuzqueña of XVII, XVIII centuries. We will then continue to Qoricancha the Sun Temple in the Inca Empire, after we will continue to the fortress of Sacsayhuaman, with its huge stone blocks joined perfectly and other Incan shrines that we will visit will include: Tambomachay, Qenqo and Puca Pucara. Overnight in Cusco

 Day 02: Pisac Archeological and Ollantaytambo (09:00 – 16:00)

After breakfast at the hotel, pick up to begin our tour. This day we will go to sacred valley to have a short hike around Pisac archeological site where the Incas erected on the mountain a magnificent Citadel. The hike will last about 3 hours, exploring the Inca citadel of Pisac, enjoying the amazing views and the history. Then you will descend following the ancients Inca trail that connects the Inca site with the colonial town of Pisac and its famous handicraft market.

 Day 03: Machupicchu Full Day

After breakfast at the hotel, we will go to the train station to board the train service to Aguas Calientes, a town that is located at the foot of Machu Picchu Mountain (2000m/6561ft). During the train journey you will enjoy the beautiful scenery of the mountains and valleys that surround the train with spectacular views of the Urubamba valley. Once in Aguas Calientes, we will take the bus of ascent (30min) to the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu and then start the guided tour (2 1/2 hrs.) through the main temples, plazas and religious sites of this enigmatic city. At the end you will have free time to explore the site on your own.  At a scheduled time (to be announced), we will descend back to Aguas Calientes for lunch (not included) and finally we will return to Sacred Valley by train. Overnight at Sacred Valley

 ay 04: Sacred Valley (9:00 – 13:00)

Pick up from your hotel at sacred valley at 9:00 am, to star our last tour. This day we will visit two such interesting places located a few miles from Ollantaytambo first, the circular terraces of Moray, which were probably an agricultural laboratory. Next, we will travel to Maras salt mines with its more than 3000 salt pools, used since pre Inca time up today. Finally we will return to Cusco to stay in your hotel. Overnight in Cusco

At Schedule time transfer to the airport.
