We offer you the best way to discover Lima through its history, tradition and exquisite gastronomy. The program covers the ancestral, colonial and modern Lima and finishes with a tour discovering the secrets of the renowned Peruvian cuisine

Day 01: Larco Herrera Museum – City Tour

  • Lima City Tour: Huaca Pucllana ruins, Lima historic downtown, San Francisco church and its catacombs, residential district of San Isidro and a splendid view of the Pacific Ocean from the district of Miraflores.

Day 02: Pachacamac Citadel – Paso horse Exhibition

Day 03: Gastronomic tour

  • Gastronomic tour: Excursion to a local market and visit to an exclusive restaurant ¨La Rosa Nautica¨ (half day)

Day 01: Larco Herrera Museum – Lima City Tour (9:15 – 17:00) (L)

Pick up from hotel and visit the Larco Herrera Museum, placed in a royal mansion of the eighteenth century. Here you will get to know the largest and most impressive Pre-Colombian art collection in the world. Its galleries display the best and mot complete collection of gold and silver from ancient Peru, and the famous collection of erotic pottery.

In the afternoon, the Lima city tour begins with a panoramic view to the Huaca Puccllana, a pre-Hispanic archaeological site built in the 4th century. Then we will explore the historical center of Lima to visit the San Martin plaza, Plaza mayor, the Government Palace, Cathedral of Lima, and others that will show us beautiful colonial and Republican architecture. Also, we will visit the San Francisco Church with its impressive colonial art works and its catacombs. To finish our tour, we will visit the modern side of the city by passing through the residential and financial center of San Isidro and Miraflores where you will have a beautiful view of the Pacific Ocean .

* Banco Central de Reserva Museum is closed to the public on Saturday and Sunday afternoon. Monday closed all day.

Day 02: Pachacamac Citadel – Paso horse show (9:15 – 15:30) (L)

The excursion starts at 9:15 am with a guided tour to the pre – Hispanic citadel of Pachacamac,an ancient sacred place dedicated to the universe creator . By the afternoon we will visit the Hacienda Ficus, where we will know the Peruvian Paso horse world. Here we will enjoy a spectacular show of this beautiful animal. this day we also will taste a delicious lunch with the best of the Peruvian gastronomy.

Day 03: Gastronomic tour (10:30 – 14:30) (L)

At 10:30 a.m. we will start our gastronomic adventure visiting a typical local market where you will appreciate a variety of Peruvian products, and enjoy unique fruits like chirimoya, lucuma, aguaymanto and pacae. Also, we will visit the exclusive restaurant “La Rosa Nautica” where you will learn how to prepare the famous “Pisco Sour” drink by an expert bartender. You will also learn the secret recipe of “Ceviche” prepared by an expert chef. After this experience we will taste the exquisite flavor of the most representative dishes of Peruvian cuisine.
