Day 01: Arrival in Arequipa – City tour

  • Transfer from the airport to your hotel

Day 02: Excursion to the Colca Canyon 2D/ 1N

  • Trip by van to Colca through Pampa Cañahuas Reserve
  • Thermal baths in Chivay (optional)
  • Overnight at hotel in Colca

Day 03: Lookout Condor

  • Trip toward the Cruz del Condor lookout to appreciate the flight of the Andean condor
  • Return to Arequipa by bus
  • Overnight at hotel in Arequipa

Day 04: Cusco- City Tour

  • Transfer out hotel / airport in Arequipa
  • Flight to Cusco
  • Transfer  airport / hotel in Cusco
  • Cusco city tour: Catedral, Qoricancha, Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Tambomachay (half day)
  • Overnight at hotel in Cusco

Day 05: Sacred Valley of the Incas

  • Sacred Valley tour:  Pisac and Ollantaytambo  (full day)

Day 06: Tour to Machu Picchu

Day 01: Arrival in Arequipa – City tour (9:00 – 12:00 ór 14:00 – 17:00)

Upon arrival you will be picked up from the airport and brought to your hotel. By the afternoon the city tour includes the most outstanding attractions of Arequipa the white city, including the Convent of St. Catherine admirable space for its history, architecture and art work, the main square, one of the most beautiful of Peru, In addition to visiting the lookouts of Yanahuara and Carmen Alto to appreciate the beautiful city of Arequipa flanked by impressive volcanoes Overnight in Arequipa

Day 02: Excursion to the Colca Canyon 2D/ 1N (B)(L)

After breakfast at your hotel, we will begin the trip to Colca Canyon. We will drive through Yura, a natural reserve of Canaguas, where we will see herds of vicuñas and alpacas grazing in Andean wetlands. Also, we will pass by the highest point, known as the Mirador de los Andes at 4800m/15748ft, which has a spectacular view of the volcanoes. From there we will descend towards the village of Chivay for lunch and then go to our designated hotel. In the afternoon we will visit La Calera hot springs (optional). Overnight in Chivay

Day 04: Lookout Condor (B)

An early day. After breakfast we will start the trip toward the Mirador Cruz del Condor to see Colca Canyon, which is considered to be one of the world’s deepest canyons. From this lookout we will observe the flight of the majestic Andean condor only a few meters away. On the way back to Chivay we will pass by the towns of Pinchollo, Maca, Achoma,Yanque, and the lookouts of Antahuilque and Choquetico. After lunch Return to Arequipa. Overnight in Arequipa

Day 04: Cusco- City Tour 13:30 – 18:30 (B)

Transfer to the airport to take your flight to Cusco City. Upon arrival,  we will pick you up from the airport and transfer you to your hotel. We recommended that you drink a coca leaf infusion and rest for the first hours to better acclimatize to the altitude.

By the afternoon we will pick you up for the hotel at 13:30 to visit the Cusco Cathedral and its treasures of Colonial art, including fine silverworks, wood carvings and paintings belonging to Escuela cuzqueña of XVII, XVIII centuries. We will then continue to Koricancha the Sun Temple in the Inca Empire, then we will continue to the fortress of Sacsayhuaman, with its huge stone blocks joined perfectly and other Incan shrines that we will visit will include: Tambomachay, Qenqo and Puca Pucara. Overnight in Cusco

Day 05: Sacred Valley of the Incas (8:30 – 18:30) (B)(L)

Pick up from the hotel at 08:30AM to be transported in our vehicle towards the archaeological site of Pisac, a great place for its outstanding agricultural terraces and palaces erected neatly over the mountain. Then we will descend towards its famous handicraft market full of a variety of colorful products that will delight our senses. Next we will drive to the town of Urubamba, where a delicious lunch will be waiting for us. Then we will continue our trip by bus to the fortress of Ollantaytambo to see its magnificent rooms and temples built with enormous blocks of granite.

By the afternoon you will board the train service to Aguas Calientes Town. Overnight in Aguas Calientes

Day 06: Tour in Machu Picchu (full day) (B)

After an early breakfast in the hotel, we will take the bus of ascent (30min) to see the dawn in the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu and then start the guided tour (2 1/2 hrs) through the main temples, plazas and religious sites of this enigmatic city. At the end you will have free time to explore the site on your own.  At a scheduled time (to be announced), we will descend back to Aguas Calientes for lunch (not included) and finally we will return to Cusco by train and by bus. Overnight in Cusco

Day 07: Tour Maras – Moray – Salt Mines (09:00 – 14:00) (B)

Breakfast at the hotel and pick up at 08:45 in the morning to go in our transport to Maras village, which has a wonderful view of the mountains and the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Close by is the archaeological site of Moray, composed of concentric circular terraces built in a natural depression. This site was probably used as an agricultural laboratory in Incan times. Finally, we will visit the salt mines located northwest of the town of Maras, consisting of more than 3000 pools used since Pre Inca times. Today the salt extracted has excellent quality, and is highly recommended for consumption for its beneficial properties. Return to the city of Cusco. Overnight in Cusco

Day 08: Departure

According to your departure flight you will be transferred to the Airport.
